America Reboots As G.O.P. Relegates Itself To Landfill

GOP becomes landfill

America Reboots As G.O.P. Relegates Itself To Landfill: "Only a moronic cleric in denial could confuse the recent seismic shift in American politics with simply a different political perspective of the future. Not to be too intimidating to those that were on the outgoing GOP tide - Obamamatics brings to the table aggressive and proactive relief to many millions of truly suffering Americans...

Will Ballot Initiatives Affect Voting in Battleground State Colorado

U.S. & Colorado State Flags

All things aside including Colorado state-wide new voter registration, efforts to get out the voters by each campaign and recent political polls, the intention here is to only examine the philosophy and political or other hidden agenda behind each ballot initiative.Colorado has more ballot initiatives (14 total), on the November 2008 ballot than any time in the state’s history except 1912, when there were 22 initiatives before Colorado voters.

The 2008 ballot measures include 10 citizen sponsored initiatives and four legislative referrals

John Sidney McCain III

John Sidney McCain III

If there ever was a topic McCain was suppose to command in the Presidential debates was Foreign Policy and McCain could not close the deal in the first debate with Barack Obama . This was McCain’s best shot at scoring significant points with Independent voters with his huge advantage of 26 years in Congress (21 of those years in the Senate), but he somehow found a way to miss the opportunity! McCain Gets GOP Nod & RNC Speeches including Sarah Palin - Surprise Many

Palin acceptance speech word cloud

The carefully GOP manipulated TV coverage of the RNC Wednesday night was an interesting sociological snapshot of the base of supporters physically present.

You would have thought that some of the nationally known speakers - Meg Whitman, founder of that small little company E-Bay and Carly Fiorina, former chief executive of Hewlett-Packard were giving a speech to themselves inside a closet when talking of GOP reform and prosperity in the future - absolutely NO response what-so-ever from the convention hall packed audience. Truly astonishing, because some issues discussed to be accomplished by the potential McCain Presidency were out there and on the far side.

Political Theater-Obama Nominated by Acclamation by Clinton

Acclamation Nomination

Well the drama of political theater unfolded that we haven't seen in a while, as the roll call vote for Barack Obama's Democratic Party nomination, went state after state honoring Clinton's bid for the White House. Some states yielded unanimous votes by their delegation for Barack Obama... even though some of those states that were won by Clinton, until they got to New Mexico where there were by everyone count, enough votes for the nomination to have the winning delegate count - but after much political fanfare New Mexico yielded to the state of Illinois where everyone thought that would be the appropriate end by casting the winning votes to break the delegate barrier for the nomination. But it was not to be!

2008 Summer Olympics Part 4 - China s Human Rights

China Human Rights Collage

To believe that the Olympics in todays world is a mere sporting event is naive. Beijing was awarded the Olympics as a political gesture allowing them to prove themselves. Now it is up to China to prove to the world they are up to the task of living up to international human rights standards. Everyone MUST be so bold to declare ANYTHING less will negatively impact any recognition China hopes to achieve from these 2008 Olympic games. Everyone must be held to the same international human rights standard, including the United States."

Is McCain A Coward – Misses 103 Consecutive Senate Votes

John McCain Surprised

"Does the United States now elect slackers who abuse their privilege of representing this nation by NOT fulfilling their duties in Congress, so they can run for higher office? Or do complacent voters just neglect these facts and further contribute to this compounded problem by simply turning their cheek the other way? Pretty disgusting if you ask me either way- that any U.S. Congressman or U.S. Senator has the impudence to quot;expect quot; from American citizens to respect them and their potential future leadership in higher office, when in turn they do NOT deserve the current Congressional seat they are occupying by not performing their existing Constitutional obligation..."

No doubt John McCain does NOT want Americans to know the details behind the spiraling higher costs of oil and then refined gasoline due to oil speculation. John McCain has direct ties to the creation of the oil speculation loop hole and has strategically placed his Senate votes to mask his oil speculation ties and mislead the American public on it s history and his knowledge about it.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad - NBC Nightly News Interview

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad

No doubt President Bush and his entire NeoCon White House, as well as the stupendous GOP affable mouthpieces Bill O’Reilly, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Haggerty would rather be dead, than be caught talking with sincere civility to suspected enemies of the state (one of the reasons the United States failed unilateral foreign policy has been so detrimental to worldwide stability), and the same failed U.S. policies that are so diametrically counter/opposed to Barack Obama’s U.S. + the world partnership in which his recent Berlin speech clearly proposed.

Obama’s Berlin Speech Video-Transcript-Analysis

Obama stands tall in Berlin

Barack Obama delivered a major foreign policy speech in 30-minutes to 200,000 enthusiastic onlookers and supporters at the base of the “Victory Column” - the Siegessäule in the middle of a roundabout called the Grosser Stern in the Tiergarten Park - Berlin’s sprawling park in the center of the city. When a reporter asked the senator if he considered the address a campaign event, he said with a puzzled look: “As opposed to?” “It’s not a political rally,” he added. “Hopefully, it will be viewed as a substantive, articulation of the relationship I’d like to see between the United States and Europe. I’m hoping to communicate across the Atlantic the value of that relationship and how we need to build on it.”The entire text (added bonus pictures also from the Berlin Speech), to the Obama Berlin speech is down loadable at end of this narrative.

Grayjing = Smoggy Beijing

Beijing Heavy Smog

Grayjing is the nickname given to Beijing for it’s serious air pollution problems. Most of us have heard about by now the unusually smoggy conditions polluting Beijing’s (population 11 million), air - but seeing the conditions makes you wonder if the Chinese are going to be able to pull off their so called "blue sky days" during the 2008 Summer Olympics scheduled to start August 8th. Government claims have previously stated that the number of "blue sky days", when smog levels are lower than normal -less than 100 on a scale of 500 API (Air Pollution Index), has increased to around 240 days annually.

OMG - What has Yahoo Done ?

Yacrosoft or Michoo – too Icahnish?

Jerry Yang & David Filo - Co-Founders of Yahoo

When America was once prosperous, not too long ago and most U.S. industries had at least a bright near-term economic future, the greedy class of American could enrich themselves privately, away from the media and general public – but, those times have changed. This recent statement in The Washington Post article says it all - “Icahn, who owns a 5 percent stake in Yahoo, emphasized he still believes a sale of all or part of Yahoo may still be the best way for the Sunnyvale, Calif.-based company to lift its sagging stock price.”
No mention whatsoever has been discussed publicly of what to fix that people don’t like about Yahoo that may be causing the lack of financial windfall that Carl Icahn believes he should benefit from by investing in Yahoo, the well liked consumer based Internet icon stock.
